Factory lighting needs to be practical before it is decorative. Workers need clear visibility for production, movement, inspection, storage, and daily maintenance. At the same time, industrial buildings often need fixtures that can handle dust, moisture, long operating hours, and cleaning better than standard indoor linear lights.
For the Ireland Ventac Factory project, Unicornlite's LockLock LED tri-proof lighting was used as the waterproof linear lighting direction for an industrial factory environment. The project images show LockLock fixtures installed in a real factory setting, which makes the case useful for buyers comparing lighting options for production spaces, workshops, warehouses, and service areas.
The factory required linear lighting that could support daily industrial work and fit the practical conditions of a production space. In this type of project, the buyer is usually not only asking for brightness. The fixture also needs to be durable enough for the environment, simple enough to maintain, and suitable for the mounting layout.
Common factory lighting problems include uneven illumination, old fixtures that are difficult to maintain, poor visibility in work zones, and products that are not suitable for dusty or damp areas. Product Solution
The LockLock LED tri-proof light direction is suitable for many factories, warehouses, supermarkets, corridors, and indoor industrial areas that need waterproof linear lighting. There are some general factory lighting requirements you should follow. You need to understand OSHA safety requirements. But for the most part, OSHA requirements are the bare minimum you need to maintain a safe environment.
Typically, recommended lighting levels are much higher. The more assembly and detailed work there is, the higher the foot candle requirements. The range for most factories is between 30 and 100+ foot candles. If you have a light meter, measure your existing light levels, and determine if it’s too little, too much, or just right.
