Factory lighting has to support the real working environment, not just produce a high wattage number. Ceiling height, production layout, machinery, work areas, mounting points and maintenance access all influence the right fixture choice. For this Slovakia factory project, the recorded solution used Crossover UFO high bay LED lights in 100W and 150W configurations.
The project record identifies 68 fixtures in total. The selected UFO high bay format is suitable for industrial spaces where luminaires are installed at height and the lighting layout needs to cover production or working areas from overhead positions. The final performance of any factory lighting system still depends on the site layout and the lighting calculation.

UFO high bay fixtures use a compact round housing and are commonly considered for high-ceiling factories, warehouses, workshops and open industrial zones. Their suitability depends on mounting height, required lighting level, beam distribution, spacing and the location of work areas.
For a factory project, the fixture selection should be connected to the production layout. Open areas, machinery zones, inspection stations and circulation paths may require different spacing or optical decisions. A 100W or 150W label alone cannot confirm whether the installed system will meet the required lighting level.
Different wattage configurations can be useful when a building contains areas with different mounting heights, layout density or task requirements. The correct comparison should use the exact fixture configuration, lumen output, optical distribution, mounting position and target work plane.
For a new project, the lighting proposal should show fixture locations and expected illuminance and uniformity across the relevant work areas. For a retrofit, existing fixture positions, electrical circuits, ceiling structure and current lighting condition should be reviewed before the replacement list is finalized.
Share your factory layout, ceiling height, machinery arrangement, mounting details, operating schedule and target lighting level with Unicornlite. The team can compare high bay configurations, review beam distribution and prepare a project-based lighting recommendation or simulation.
